IRG_M3S_T4I_2025_005
Project Overview
This project aims to design state-of-the-art AI to maximize the growth of human capital. It creates novel theories and develops an AI-assisted system to model individual career trajectories and recommend long-term career decisions. It facilitates individual decisions around education and skill training to support Singaporeans’ lifelong learning, including both cognitive and physical skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of deep learning models for individual level career trajectory modeling.
- Conduct data processing and regression for global job market analysis.
- Integrate the state-of-the-art AI and the classical dynamic behavioral models to facilitate novel physics-guided learning methods for career recommendation.
- Contribute to technical discussions, brainstorming sessions, and project meetings with the research team.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Transportation Engineering, Computational Social Science, Electrical Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Urban Planning, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- A strong understanding of deep learning models (e.g., GNNs, Transformer) and regression methods.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning tools (e.g., Pytorch, Tensorflow, Scikit-learn)
- Strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and a keen interest in social science.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
This internship is only open to full-time matriculated or registered students in the six autonomous universities Singapore. The internship must be approved by the University.
